One of the most remembered scientific achievements was on July 20, 1969. You may not remember the actual date, but it is likely you remember where you were when you watched the grainy footage on the 10 o’clock news of man’s first footstep onto the moon. “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” became a commonly repeated phrase.
You may also remember in the days and months following an outcry of non-believers professing that it was all a hoax…a staged event. They could not accept the truth.
There are those today who still refuse to accept the truth of God’s son, of HIS virgin birth, of HIS miracles, of HIS torture and Crucifixion, of HIS rising from the grave, of HIS appearance to hundreds or of HIS returning to redeem HIS people on judgement day. All truths. These are skeptics who will hold to their weak claims and doubts who will never see the gates of Heaven.
Take “one small step” and bow down on your knees in prayer. Don’t wait. Do it now. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Take the most important “one giant leap” in your life.
“the spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him or knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” JOHN 14:17 NIV
